G.652.D

Zero water peak, non-dispersion shifted single-mode fiber | 1260–1625 nm full-spectrum transmission | ITU-T G.652.D

The G.652.D Single-Mode Optical Fiber is a zero water peak, non-dispersion shifted fiber engineered for transmission systems operating across the complete 1260 nm to 1625 nm wavelength window. It retains low dispersion at the conventional 1310 nm window while eliminating the attenuation peak at 1383 nm, opening up the full E-band (1360–1460 nm) for additional wavelength channels. With optimised attenuation and dispersion across the full spectrum and reduced bending loss at 1625 nm, the G.652.D fiber delivers the bandwidth headroom required for trunk, metropolitan, and access networks — carrying voice, video, and data services on a single, future-ready optical medium.
