Cut-off shifted, large mode field single-mode fiber | Effective area: 113 µm² | Attenuation ≤0.180 dB/km at 1550 nm | ITU-T G.654.D
The G.654.D Large Effective Area Optical Fiber is a cut-off wavelength shifted single-mode fiber combining ultra-low attenuation with a large mode field diameter and effective area. The large effective area significantly reduces non-linear effects during high-power, multi-wavelength transmission — enabling error-free, high-speed signal transmission over very long unrepeated distances. Engineered to meet ITU-T G.654.D and IEC 60793-2-50 B1.2 requirements, the G.654.D fiber is purpose-built for long-distance submarine optical cable systems and high-capacity backbone links where every decibel of loss budget matters.
