Optical Fiber

G.657.A2

Bend-insensitive, low water peak single-mode fiber | Minimum bend radius: 7.5 mm | 242 µm coating | ITU-T G.652.D / G.657.A2

The G.657.A2 Bend-Insensitive Single-Mode Optical Fiber is a low water peak fiber offering superior macro-bend resistance, with a minimum bend radius of just 7.5 mm. Supporting full-band transmission from 1260 nm to 1625 nm and fully compatible with G.652 single-mode fiber, it delivers very low additional attenuation from micro-bending — making it well suited to ribbon cables, compact drop cables, and densely routed indoor installations. High fatigue resistance ensures long service life even under tight bending conditions, while low polarization mode dispersion supports high-speed, long-distance transmission.
