Optical Fiber

G.657.A2 – 200 µm

The G.657.A2 200 µm Optical Fiber combines the full transmission characteristics of non-dispersion shifted single-mode fiber with exceptional bend resistance in a reduced 200 µm coating diameter. It operates across the full 1260 nm to 1625 nm band and withstands bend radii as small as 7.5 mm, with induced attenuation as low as 1 dB at 1625 nm. Delivering extremely high resistance to bending loss across the 7.5 mm to 15 mm radius range and full compatibility with G.652.D, it enables the most compact, high-density cable designs for indoor, FTTH, and data center environments.
